JAMMU, Oct 19: Bus Stand Police arrested two persons for carrying fire crackers illegally.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Deepankar Singh under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Mohita Sharma laid a naka and intercepted Alto car bearing registration number JK02CS-0390.
During checking, police team found large quantity of fire crackers and detained two persons.
When asked about permission, they were unable to produce and were arrested accordingly. The arrested persons were identified as Sanjay Singh of District Rajouri and Soraub Dubey of Roop Nagar, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 67/2021 under Section 188 IPC has been registered against the arrested persons at Police Station Bus Stand and investigation started.
