Two arrested with 11 kg ganja

JAMMU, May 16: Two people were arrested along with the contraband ganja from Rajeev Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Trikuta Nagar police station.
As per police sources, acting on a tip-off, a team from Trikuta Nagar police station conducted raid in Rajeev Nagar area of Narwal and apprehended two drug peddlers along with 11 kilograms ganja.
The accused have been identified as Manish Kumar, son of Nikal Dev Raj and Sheru Kumar, son of late Sujart Singh, both residents of Bihar, at present Bari Brahmana.
A case under FIR Number 84/16 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against them at Trikuta Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
