JAMMU, Oct 16: Government today ordered temporary appointment of two candidates in the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts (Gazetted) Service and Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS).
As per an order issued in this regard, sanction has been accorded to the appointment of Ashutosh Abrol son of Pushkar Kumar Abrol of Roop Nagar Jammu in Jammu and Kashmir Accounts (Gazetted) Service and Shalini Chandail daughter of Rakesh Kumar of Shiva, Jammu, in the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in the pay level-8.
“The appointees shall be on probation for a period of two years during which they shall undergo such training and pass the departmental examination as prescribed under rules,” read the order.
It added that the candidates allotted to the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts (Gazetted) Service shall report to the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, J&K for undergoing the prescribed training while as the candidates allotted the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service shall report to the GAD.
