JAMMU, Jan 18: Two victims of separate road accidents today succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, a youth identified as Sahil Kumar, son of Sudesh Kumar Dogra, resident of Ramban, was shifted here at GMCH on January 15 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at Ramban.
However, the youth succumbed to his injuries today at about 7 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
Similarly, a youth identified as Rakesh Kumar (28) son of Krishan Lal, resident of Dansal, who was injured in a road accident at Dansal on January 13 and was undergoing treatment here at GMCH Jammu since then, expired today at about 4.30 PM. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for autopsy.
The concerned police has taken cognizance in both cases.
