JAMMU, Sept 30: Two victims of road accidents today succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
According to a police official, a woman identified as Sunita Devi wife of Babu Ram, resident of Bali (Akhnoor) was shifted here at GMCH on September 24 after she received serious injuries following a road mishap at Jourian. She succumbed to her injuries today at about 12:18 am.
Another person identified as Kishori Lal (50) son of Badrinath, resident of Padder, was also undergoing treatment her at GMCH since September 20 after he was hit and injured by a Sumo at Paddar. He expired today at 01:30 am.
The dead bodies of both the deceased were shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter in both the cases.
