JAMMU, Feb 4: City Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest from the past 8 years.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station City led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib conducted raid and apprehended two absconders, who were at large since 2013.
The arrested persons were identified as Nisar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Yousuf and Safder Khan, son of Malkhan Khan, both residents of Ari Mendhar District Poonch.
They were wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 82/2010 under Sections 353 and 353 RPC with Police Station City. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against them by CJM Court Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
