JAMMU, Oct 26: The Teacher’s Welfares’ Association has urged Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to announce the release of 3% DA instalment and pending 2% HRA before Diwali so that employees can enjoy the festivities with great fervour.
“Already the Central Government has released the same in favour of its employees and Union Territory of J&K has always been benevolent towards employees & taken the lead in announcing the same, so it is the right time to announce it today or tomorrow so that bills for salary be deposited in time and the employees gets their due share before Diwali,” Jasmeet Singh Madaan, President, TWA demanded.
In this context, TWA urged the LG once again to announce the release of DA and pending HRA alongwith arrears in cash immediately so that true festivities in the ensuing month can be celebrated with great pomp and show by families of employees.
