JAMMU, Mar 30: A meeting of prominent producers and directors engaged in Television programme making was held here today in which the members unanimously decided to form an Association to project the grievances of the community.
The meeting also decided to approach DD Kendra Jammu authorities to appeal them to stop any type of discrimination in distributing production assignments amongst the private producers and make the process totally transparent.
The meeting also discussed the enhancement of funds for DD Jammu, giving due share to Dogri and other dilects of Jammu region, language, culture and also drama segment should be given priority in TV programmes and improvement in the quality of programme being telecast by D D Jammu.
