JAMMU, Apr 15: Acting on the complaints about alleged misappropriation of food-grains at CA&PD outlets Noori A&B in district Kupwara, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today attached TSO, Abdul Rashid Payar with AD Srinagar (North) besides placing I/C Storekeeper Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Lone under suspension.
The Minister directed the Assistant Director North to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter and submit the report within next 10 days.
Meanwhile, in a separate action, the Minister placed under suspension TSO Batyas Doda, Mangat Ram for allegedly withholding the ration of the area for 2-months, which was to be distributed among the consumers of Mannu, Kota and other adjoining areas.
He asked Assistant Director CA&PD Doda to probe the matter.
