RAMBAN, Apr 25: A trucker was injured when the vehicle he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Sherbibi area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AJ-4341 was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the truck and it landed into gorge near Sherbibi, resulting into serious injuries to the driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals and other volunteers rescued the injured driver.
The victim was rushed to SDH Banihal, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Cognizance has been taken up by the concerned police station.
