UDHAMPUR, Feb 6: A truck driver was electrocuted when the vehicle came in contact with a high tension live wire at Railway Station Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Roshi (25), son of Mohd Sultan of Bachi Shopian, Kashmir. His truck, bearing registration number JK22-7077, came in contact with the live electric wires, which crossing over the road. The victim was immediately shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The dead body of the deceased was handed over to next of the kin after post-mortem.
Meanwhile, a man, identified as Pritam Lal (45) son of Tej Ram of Mali Udhampur, died after he fell down from Mali Pull on Udhampur Panchari road under mysterious circumstances. Even as he was immediately shifted to District Hospital Udhampur, doctors declared him as brought dead.
