Tripur Sundri Sanstha for facilities to pilgrims

JAMMU, June 3: A general body meeting of Shree Tripur Sundri Sanstha Khanabarni Devsar in district Kulgam of South Kashmir was held here, today under the chairmanship of Tej Dhar to take the stock of annual mela of Mata Tripur Sundri falling on June 20.
The meeting urged the authorities including the DC Kulgam, Relief Commissioner, Jammu and other officers for initiating the necessary arrangements like transport, security, electricity, water supply, cooking gas, ration and medical facilities at the holy shrine during the days of festival.
The meeting said a Maha Yagya will also be simonized at the holy shrine on June 20 as usual. The Kashmiri Pandits who have taken refuge in different parts of the country will start reaching the holy shrine for pilgrimage from June 11 and the Yagya will commence on June 19 with Puran Ahuti next day. The Sanstha has initiated the registration process for the pilgrims at its camp office, Durga Nagar here.
The Sanstha has also made arrangements of free langer for the devotees at the shrine, the meeting said.
