NEW DELHI: The Centre today filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court on the issue of triple talaq, its validity and polygamy issue.
“All the issues need to be seen in light of gender justice, equality and dignity of women,” the affidavit stated.
“There is no reason why women in India should be denied their Constitutional rights,” it added. (Agencies)
