JAMMU, Nov 26: Trikuta Nagar Development Council (TNDC) celebrated the Foundation Day here, today to achieve the noble theme of Vision of a Development Society.
Ravinder Raina , president BJP was the chief guest on the occasion, Yudhvirt Sethi vice president, BJP was guest of honour and Rekha Mahajan president, Jammu district South BJP was special guest.
S C Verma president of the Council presented the welcome address. K S Sambyal vice president of the Council offered Iswar Vandha which was followed by patriotic songs by the students.
The distinguished personalities of the area including doctors and kids of deceased members of the Council were also honoured on the occasion. This was followed by address of guests.
The chief guest congratulated the Council for organising this gala event. K S Samyal and T C Taggar were specially honoured for their tireless efforts in organising this mega event.
B R Gupta president of Association of Senior Citizens Rejuvenation Centre, Trikuta Nagar honoured S C Verma for his leadership qualities and establishing the Senior Citizens Rejuvenation Centre in 2010. He also presented the vote of thanks.
