JAMMU, Dec 26: Floral tributes were paid to former Minister and senior Congress leader, Yash Pal Khajuria on his 2nd death anniversary at the party office here today.
The function in this connection was presided over by former PCC president and sitting Minister Haj, Auqaf and Public Enterprises Peerzada Mohd Sayeed. Several other party leaders including ex-Minister R S Chib, Mula Ram, Yogesh Sawhney, Janak Raj Gupta ( ex-MP), S Gurmukh Singh, Th Hari Singh, K C Bhagat- MLA, Ravinder Sharma –MLC, G L Chalotra, Vinod Sharma, Sardari Lal Dubey, S R Sudhir, K L Gupta, Manmohan Singh, Santosh Magotra, Narinder Sharma, Rajiv Saraf, Ravi Singh Slathia, Neeraj Gupta and others paid their rich tributes to late Khajuria.
While paying tributes they described late Khajuria as a dedicated and sincere soldier of the party who devoted his entire life in the service of the people of his area and Congress party. He was known in the party rank and file for his simplicity, honesty, integrity and commitment towards public service. He rose to the position in the party from Youth Congress cadre by the dint of his hard work.
