Tributes paid to Balwinder Singh

JAMMU, Oct 30: Dental Students Association (DSA) J&K today started campaign with paying tribute to the heroes of J&K.
The members paid tribute to Balwinder Singh (ex- administrator) whose statue is installed at Rehari Chungi, Chowk. He was real social worker of his time in Jammu, who served his life for the people of J&K with pure intentions and great skills.
President of DSA J&K Students Wing Inzmam Khan, chief spokesperson Khalil Ahmed Malik, Arwinder Singh Micky ( Ex- Deputy Chairman J&K LC) and the Gurudwara Parbandak Committee president Jagjit Singh along with Dental students were present on the occasion.
DSA president Inzmam has said that Dental students have taken initiative to pay tributes of the heroes and this is first step in this regard.
Chief spokesperson Khalil Ahmed Malik said that the Association will carry on with such kind of efforts. He extended gratitude to all the dental students for their support. Further he stressed upon to continue this campaign and appealed to people for their support.
Arvinder Singh and Jagjit Singh said that this kind of effort should be taken by everyone and thanked DSA J&K Student wing for this initiative. Arvinder Singh expressed his views and also highlighted the services rendered by Late Balwinder Singh for the community and people in general. DSA appealed the administration and Jammu Municipal Corporation to make every Chowk of heroes neat and clean to save the dignity of those who played very important role in the history of J&K.
