JAMMU, Mar 30: A large number of people from various walks of life today paid their tribute to Prof Roshan Lal Kataria, founder of Aryans Group and conveyed their condolences.
Roshan Lal Kataria passed at the age of 76 on 26th March, 2025.
The bhog and antim ardaas was performed at Shri Sanatan Dharm Mandir, Sec-16 D Chandigarh.
His son, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group along with his mother Rajni Kataria and wife Dr Parveen Kataria received condolences from the attendees.
Several prominent figures attended the ceremony, including Satpal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India; Kuljeet Nagra, Vineet Joshi, K K Yadav, Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Punjab; Vimal Setia, Joint Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Punjab; Arun Sharma, Deputy Director, Rural Development; Dr H K Bali, Renowned Cardiologist, Arun Grover eX-VC, paid the tribute.
Representatives from various educational institutions and associations including Punjab Unaided Colleges Association, Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association, Joint Association of Colleges, Nursing Association, Chandigarh Management Association, Pharmacy Association and various academician from Adesh University, Chandigarh University, Bahra University, Guru Kashi University, CGC Jhanjheri, AGC , SVIET, Quest, Golden, Baba Farid, Universal, LGC Ludhina, GGS Nursing Barnala, GGS Sachdeva, PIMT, Khanna Gurdasi Das, Bathinda, Baba Farid Bathinda, Vidya Jyoti, Longowal Group, Dr Shailesh Sharma Bela Group, Dr Ajay Sharma, SD College, Prof Rupinder Tiwari, Abhimanyu Punchi, Saurabh Joshi and Narinder Lamba were present.
From Punjab University Chandigarh’s alumni Association, Padamnabhin Walia, Anil Sagar, Baljinder Brar, Naresh Maluja, Rajesh Kataria, Suman Summi, Rajesh Ahuja, Ucee Chawla, Rakesh Arora, Kewal Sahni, Hilary Victor, Mukesh Kumar and Rajesh Monga were present.
From Rose Club Group, Deshbandhu Uppal, H S Malhi, Jay Prakash Verma, Yogesh Kohli, Surjeet Singh, Varinder Gupta, Vinay Jain, Dr Ashwani Biana, Dr Ruchit Uppal, Ravinder Kataria , Chanchal Kataria, Bittu Bitti Kataria (Baghapurana) were also present.
