JAMMU, Nov 16: Desh Bhakat Yadgar Committee here today paid rich tribute to the martyr S. Kartar Singh Sarabha who was hanged by the British Government because of his revolutionary activities.
Sarabha launched freedom struggle on the name of Gaddar Party which was demanding end of the British rule from India.
Girdhari Lal Chanda, Dr. Amar Chand, Ratinder Koul, Pritam Singh, R.K Kalsotra, Jathedar Mohinder Singh, Baldev Sharma, Rakesh Singh Bhau, Shiv Rattan Singh and others spoke on this occasion and demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K and early elections.
