JAMMU, Feb 5: Jammu and Kashmir Powerlifting Association is going to organize a selection trial for Federation Cup, Bench Press and Dead Lift Championship on February 10, 2018 at Power House Gym, Bari Brahamana, here.
According to a handout issued here, the event is an Open Championship in which men, women, sub-junior, junior, seniors and masters can participate. The body weighing will be held from February 7 to February 9, 2018 at Power House Gym Gangyal; Power House Gym, Bari Brahamana and BJD Friends’ Club Paloura.
The weight group for men include below 59 Kg, 66 Kg, 74 Kg, 83 Kg, 93 Kg, 105 Kg, 120 Kg and +120 Kg.
For women the weight group includes below 47 Kg, 52 Kg, 57 Kg, 63 Kg, 72 Kg, 84 Kg and +84 Kg.
The Association has advised the participants to carry their Adhaar Cards with them as any entry without it will not be entertained.
