Tremors felt in J&K

SRINAGAR, June 14: An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted the parts of Jammu and Kashmir today, officials said.
The magnitude of the earthquake was measured on Richter scale 4.7 with the epicenter at 36.52 in the north and 71.18 in East Wurduj, Badakhshan in Afghanistan. The tremors were felt for a few seconds.
The tremors were felt at 01.05 pm with the 389 km north west of Gulmarg and 415 km north west of Srinagar with a depth of 202 km.
There was no report of loss of life or damage to property. (UNI)
