JAMMU, Nov 8: The manager of Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), Residency Road Jammu was booked for assaulting a shopkeeper over some water drainage related issue.
As per police sources, Joginder Gupta, son of Rasila Ram, a resident of Chand Nagar, having shop near Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan approached officials of TRC, Residency Road Jammu with some water related issue. The Manager of the TRC namely Amnan Ahmed along with around dozen persons locked the shopkeeper inside a room and later assaulted him.
The shopkeeper was hospitalized with fracture in his leg and some brushes on face. The son of the victim lodged complaint with City Police Station against TRC Manager and others.
A case under FIR number 69/14 under Section 323, 342 and 147 RPC has been registered at City Police Station in this regard and investigation started.
