Travis Scott arrested during concert

LOS ANGELES, Aug 3: Rapper Travis Scott has been arrested for allegedly encouraging fans to jump over barricades during his performance in Chicago.

The 23-year-old rapper whose real name is Jacques Webster is facing disorderly conduct charges for allegedly telling the crowd to ignore security and causing riot, reported Aceshowbiz.

As the crowd at Grant Park started to flood the security pit and rush to the stage, the DJ quickly cut the music as organisers jumped into action and tried to clear the area before things could get out of hand.

Scott was later arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

“The performer played one song and then began telling fans to come over the barricades,” Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management said.

“Due to the security’s quick response, the situation was remedied immediately and no fans were injured. The performer fled the scene and was taken into custody a short while later. He is being charged with disorderly conduct.” (PTI)
