JAMMU, Dec 20: All the transfers ordered by Dr Vinod Sharma during his last days of tenure as Health Officer in Jammu Municipal Corporation, have been kept in abeyance.
Taking cognizance of a number of complaints regarding transfer orders issued by Dr Vinod Sharma, during his last days of tenure in JMC, the authorities conducted an enquiry and found that about nine Sanitary Inspectors were adjusted in different wards by the then Health Officer while being under transfer to his new place of posting.
The higher authorities immediately took cognizance of the motivated orders and kept them in abeyance. A detailed enquiry is being conducted regarding the reasons for issuing orders without approval of the competent authority. The enquiry report will be furnished to the Administrative Department.
