JAMMU, Aug 18: A virtual meeting of central body members of JKSEECC and JKGTF was held today by Amar Nath Thakur, Chairman and President of Incharge Lecturers JKLUT Forum.
Speakers in the meeting urged upon the Director School Education (DSE) Jammu to transfers of all head teachers under SSA on non-plan posts.
Transfer of those masters who are serving in far flung areas and have completed their mandatory stay there was also demanded.
Other demands included female masters, medical cases, single parent and retiring masters should be given choice postings as per transfer policy.
Still more demands included adjustment of masters promoted as incharge lecturers in the interest of students.
Participants in the meeting appealed to the Principal Secretary School Education Department to convene much delayed regularization committee meeting.
Speaking in the meeting Amar Nath Thakur said he has taken the matter many times with Principal Secretary School Education Department who assured early meeting of regularization committee before Teachers Day.
He also said that issue of rationalization of teaching staff was also taken up.
Thakur informed that he also took the issue of transfer of masters with DSE.
Speakers in the meeting hailed the transfer of clerical staff and masters by DSE Jammu, Anuradha Gupta.
Those who participated in the meeting were Satish Dutta, President; Rahul Singh, Provincial President; S. Parveen Singh, General Secretary JKGTF; Tara Mani, Vijay Kumar, Surjit Singh, Babu Ram and others.
