KATHUA, Sept 20: A tralla driver died after the vehicle he was driving hit a truck bearing registration number JK08 A 5823 which was parked on National Highway near Industrial area here late last night.
According to police, the tralla bearing number PV 23F 6005 was on its way from Pathankote to Jammu and after reaching near industrial area late last night it hit a truck which was parked on the middle of National Highway resulting into serious injury to driver of the tralla.
He was shifted by police to District Hospital Kathua for treatment where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
The driver was alone in the tralla hence his identity could not be ascertained. His dead body has been kept in district Hospital Kathua for identification. A case has been registered in Police Post Hatli Morh under Section 279/304. The police has seized the truck and tralla also. However the driver of the truck was absconding.
