JAMMU, Jan 27: To enhance the skills of doctors and the paramedical staff, an orientation cum training programme organised by Regional Institute of Health & Family Welfare (RIHFW) Nagrota was held here today.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Administrative Secretary to Govt H&ME J&K and Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Director Health Services Jammu with active support from Management of Ankur Maitrika Hospital Jammu.
The programme was organised under the supervision of Dr Ajay Wakhloo, Director, Ankur Maitrika Hospital Jammu and Ramesh Razdan, Head, Admin & Marketing Department.
Dr Manoj Bhagat, Principal, RIHFW apprised the participants about the importance of this training programme whereas Dr Shelly Mahajan, Consultant Anesthesia (Master Trainer), conducted the hand-on practice session for the participants who performed on CPR and Air-way management techniques being used for Adult and Neo-natal resuscitation to save life of the victims during emergency.
Dr Ajay Wakhloo, appreciated the training programme was conducted by Dr Manoj Bhagat and Dr. Shelly Mahajan. He requested the administration to continue such training programme in future since this will help in improving the skills of the Doctors and Paramedics and in public & in general.
