Training Aircraft Crashes Again in Baramati, Pilot Safe

morning.

According to preliminary reports, the aircraft went down near Gojubavi village during a routine training sortie. Fortunately, the pilot escaped without any injury.

Officials said the aircraft belonged to a private flight training academy operating in the Baramati region, which is known for pilot training activities.

Initial information suggests that the aircraft may have developed a technical problem before making a hard landing or crashing into an agricultural field near the runway area. Local villagers rushed to the spot immediately after hearing a loud noise from the aircraft.

Police and aviation authorities reached the accident site soon after the incident.

Pune Superintendent of Police Sandip Gill confirmed that the aircraft made a hard landing within the jurisdiction of Gojubavi village. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the accident.

The latest incident has once again raised concerns about aviation safety in the Baramati area. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar passed away in a tragic plane crash alongwith the crew and his personal security officer here earlier this year.

Authorities are expected to examine whether technical issues, weather conditions, or operational factors contributed to the latest mishap. (UNI)
