RAJOURI, July 15: The traffic on busy Jammu-Poonch highway was suspended for about two hours after bomb scare in the morning.
Official sources said that a bomb like object was found by some people near New Haveli Hotel, at Narian in Nowshera area along the road at around 9.55 am. The locals informed police about the matter. Click here to watch video
The police rushed to the spot and they also informed Army. They cordoned the entire area and the movement of the vehicles on the either side of the highway was also immediately stopped. The suspicious object was destroyed and it was not an IED/ bomb. It was established that some miscreants had kept this object just to create panic among the people. The traffic was restored on the highway after about two hours.
