Traders discuss issues faced by cross LoC trade

Srinagar, July 11: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) today held a meeting of the LoC Trade Sub-Committee in which issues pertaining to trade were discussed.
Members belonging to Cross LoC Trade Association also participated and highlighted problems regarding the suspension of Cross LoC Trade.
Cross LoC Trade Association conveyed their grievances to the President of KCC&I so that all the problems faced by Cross LoC Traders due to suspension of Cross LoC Trade are taken up with the Home Ministry and with the Governor to ensure early resumption of Cross LoC Trade and put end to the miseries of the traders.
“President KCC&I extended full support of Chamber to the Cross LoC Trade Association and ensuring that every necessary step will be taken to safeguard the interests of traders and the resumption of Cross LoC Trade with the full proof mechanism,” KCC&I statement said.
Taking notice of grievances conveyed by Trade Association, the President has ensured that Chamber will schedule a Joint Press Conference to highlight the grievances of Cross LoC Traders.
