Srinagar, Oct 6: Government today said that it intends to bring Tosamaidan area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on tourist map and would be developed as golf and skiing destination.
In a written reply to MLC Saif-ud-Din Bhat, the Government, however, said that so far no notification has been issued to turn the Tosamaidan into tourist destination. It also said that there is no proposal to set up separate Tosamaidan Development Authority.
“However holistic development of the area will be taken up to make it a hub of tourism development… A detailed DRP will be prepared in this regard,” the Government stated.
