JAIPUR: Bollywood actor Govinda apparently has no plans to return to political life, saying it took him nearly a decade to forget the days of politics.
“It took (me) nearly nine-ten years to come out and forget the days of politics. I request you to not ask this,” he told reporters after inaugurating Jaipur Wax Museum at Nahargarh fort here.
The “Kill Dil” actor, who had won Lok Sabha election from Mumbai North constituency in 2004 on Congress ticket, also evaded question on demonetisation.
Govinda, who was accompanied by his wife Sunita, unveiled the statue of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan at the museum which has 32 wax statues of personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, APJ Abdul Kalam, Mother Teresa, Bhagat Singh, among others.
He said he did not give permission to install his wax statue because his ‘Guruji’ did not allow him for this.
Museum Director Anoop Srivastava claimed that it is the first such museum to be set up at a historic site. (AGENCIES)
