JAMMU, June 22: A delegation of Transport Nagar Association (TNA) led by its chairman, Rahul Sahai met Vikas Sharma, Vice Chairman , Jammu Development Authority and discussed the public issues here today.
TNA chairman sensitized VC JDA about various critical issues faced by establishments of Transport Nagar and discussed in detail about the issues.
He referred to JDA’s departmental processing issues, sanitation, street lights, black topping of roads, water leakage, handing over Transport Nagar to other departments like PWD for development of roads, JMC for sanitation and drainage, lying of new drainage system, cleaning and repair of Nallah’s, removal of encroachments, making of Shulabh Shauchalya’s for general public, traders and transport operators, repair of dividers, maintenance and plantation, conversion of lease hold to free hold rights, lease deed issues, building bye laws at par with JMC, double fee issues, Transfer policy, parking concerns at Transport Nagar and time bound transfer of property.
The Vice Chairman JDA discussed issues with the dealing officers present in the meeting to solve the grievances and shortlisted works to be taken in 1st phase so that development drive is started.
The delegation was dealt with very positive working atmosphere and appreciated working style of VC in which he again called them for follow up meeting soon.
