TJAC discusses strategy to highlight issues, further strengthen organization

SRINAGAR, July 5: An executive council meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held here at Polo View Park, which was presided over by its chairman Gazi Ab Aziz and attended by all the executive members, district presidents and other office bearer.
The main agenda of the meeting was to explore the further improvisation in organizational set up, gear up further liaison with the administration at different levels for resolving of all pending issues, strategic financial setup etc.
The meet also discussed various burning issues of teachers at various level, such as speedy disposal of time bound files, comprehensive transfer policy, remove! of stagnation in Masters-Grade promotions, completion of transition process of TG-II and TG-III, transparency in rationalization, release of pending salary of ReTs, regularization of Adeeb passed EVs and other incumbents, clearance of verification issue etc .
While addressing the participants, Gazi Ab Aziz expressed serious concern over the delay in processing of time bound files at the district headquarters. Gen Secretary, Saleem Sagar said that violation of transfer policy was biggest concern of the JKTJAC.
During the meeting, all the participants gave their suggestions to make the organization more active and also take some important decisions in order to make the platform teacher friendly. It was decided that the process for organizational election will be completed within a period of three months, commencing from zonal level.
The meeting was attended by Reyaz U Rehman, Parvez Iqbal, Ashaq Rasool, Mohammad Amin Budgami, Mohammad Abbas, Mukhtar Ahmad, Sheikh Mashooq, Malik Ashraf, Azmat Iqbal, Ab Rashid, Dilbar Mushtaq, Feroz Ali, Ab Majid, Javid Queashi, Ajaz Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi and others.
