JAMMU, Dec 14: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate for Nagrota constituency, Rakesh Wazir today said that it is the proper time to shunt out all those leaders who failed to help youth in getting employment despite the fact that the constituency had the maximum potentials for its being near the Vaishno Devi Shrine.
He was speaking during a public rally at Jandyal area of the constituency. National general secretary and Member Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Narinder Kashyap was the chief guest.
Wazir said that the defunct leaders did not even provide the youth employment in National Highway construction work, where more than five thousand employees from outside State were engaged leaving all the local youths jobless. “These leaders could not even provide justice when the land compensation across the tunnel in Kashmir was paid more than 25 times higher for the similar land and for the same National Highway”, he added.
The people of this constituency could not even repair their damaged houses due to the Army restrictions, what to speak of any Government aid or relief during the floods. None of these defunct leaders came forward to help them but rather helped in even high corruption, lawlessness and in flicking cruelty upon them making the constituency most backward.
Narinder Kashyap while speaking on the occasion said that BJP on one hand focused its total campaign in recently held Parliament elections against dynastic politics and when came the question of Nagrota the ticket was allotted to brother of Member Parliament when lot many other deserving candidates were in fray. This reflects the real picture of BJP, he added.
