LOS ANGELES, Apr 27: A Tim Burton-inspired bar, Beetle House, is to open in New York City’s East Village inspired by his many movies.
Beetle House, a bar and restaurant, is opening in the city’s East Village this week and is based on the director’s 1988 classic fantasy movie “Beetlejuice”, which starred Michael Keaton as the titular character, as well as several of his other motion pictures, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The eatery features nods to the 57-year-old filmmaker’s other big movies, including “Edward Scissorhands” and “Mars Attacks!”.
Among the cocktails on offer at Beetle House are the Headless Horseman, so called after Tim’s 1999 horror motion picture “Sleepy Hollow”, and the Jack Skellington, a character in 1993 film “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, which Tim produced.
The restaurant also houses some Tim-inspired foods, including Eggs Skellington, another reference to Jack. (PTI)
