MUMBAI, Aug 31:
Industry veteran Rishi Kapoor, who is performing a dance number in Subhash Ghai’s upcoming film ‘Kaanchi’ is thrilled about getting a chance to shake a leg after almost two decades on a solo song.
The 60-year-old actor shimmied with 60 dancers on a spectacular set for the number, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and composed by Salim-Suleman.
“I am too thrilled to do this solo item dance with Subhash Ghai after so many years and its a fabulous song,” Kapoor said.
Recollecting the golden days with Kapoor on the sets of ‘Karz’, Subhash said, “Rishi is amazing… He has the same passion and energy he had earlier. I love working with him again.”
Kapoor and Ghai had worked together in 1980 movie.
‘Kaanchi’ also stars Kartik Aryan and newcomer Mishti. It is set to release on December 6. (PTI)
