SRINAGAR, Sept 25: Three persons died while as 10 others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
A Tavera JK01R/7151 collided with an army vehicle near District Police Lines, Lethpora, resulting in injuries to three persons. Among the injured Kamal Kumar, son of Dewan Kumar resident of Digiana, Jammu, died on way to hospital.
A motorcycle JK01J/4727 driven by Junaid Bashir Khan, son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Sadrabal, Srinagar collided with a truck near KMD Adda, Hazratbal, Srinagar. The collision led to injuries to Junaid and two other persons who were traveling on the motorcycle along with him. The injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, where Junaid succumbed to his injuries.
In continuation to road accident on September 20 at Check Mujgund, Parimpora, in which a motorcyclist Tahmeen Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Jabbar resident of Hardshoora, Tangmarg was critically injured and was under treatment at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar. The injured succumbed to his injuries today.
A truck JK01/8377 driven by Abdul Rashid Lone, son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Khanmoo collided with a tractor JK03C/3485 at Green Tunnel, Anantnag. The collision resulted in injuries to the Truck driver and Abdul Hie Dar, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Chee Anantnag who was traveling on the Tractor. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A motorcycle JK09/8887 hit and injured a girl Rayeesa Bano, daughter of Ali Mohammad Lone resident of Alachi Zab at Gulgam, Kupwara. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo JK02V/7455 driven by Firdous Ahmad Rather, aged 20 years, son of Abdul Majid resident of Panzath rammed with electric pole near Town Hall, Devsar-Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Mobile JK03B/7973 collided with an unidentified vehicle at Charsoo-Awantipora, resulting in injuries to two persons. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. The police has taken cognizance in all the cases.
