JAMMU, Feb 1: Bagh-e-Bahu arrested three persons in kidnapping case, which had taken place near Mohmaya Temple on January 25.
As per police sources, a married woman hailing from Bari Brahmana along with her brother-in-law had gone to perform darshans at Mohmaya temple on the motorcycle on January 25, when some unidentified persons intercepted them, assaulted the man and kidnapped the lady.
The family members of the woman reported the matter to police and a case was registered at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and the lady was recovered, while manhunt was launched to arrest the kidnappers.
On specific information, a team from police station Bagh-e-Bahu conducted raid and arrested three kidnappers involved in the crime.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Majid, son of Javed, Khalil Ahmed, son of Murad Ali and Yousuf, son of Rashid, trio residents of Ragoora.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station Inspector Vijay Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli, SP South Shaazad Salaria and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
