SRINAGAR: Peoples Conference (PC) chairman Sajjad Gani Lone, Raja Manzoor Ahmad Khan (both MLAs) and MLC Shehnaz Ganai on Monday met Governor Satya Pal Malik and discussed problems of their respective constituencies.
An official spokesman said here this evening that Mr Lone discussed with the Governor, the successful conduct of Urban Local Body elections, and said that it would improve the delivery of services to the general populace, besides adding transparency and accountability in the system. He apprised the Governor about the status of public welfare activities and initiatives being taken up in his constituency. (AGENCIES)
