JAMMU, Feb 22: Three persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in Jammu district.
According to a police spokesperson, a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK02-3015 today collided with a bike bearing registration number JK02AD-7950 at Punnu Chowk in Akhnoor area. In the mishap, bike rider namely Amar Nath son of Sita Ram of Gorda (Mathwar) received injuries.
In Manda area of city outskirts, a Tata 207 turned turtle near Peer Baba. In the mishap, Nirmal Kumar (60) son of Charan Dass of Lakkar Mandi (Janipur) got injured.
An unknown bike-borne youth was hit and injured by an unidentified truck in Sainik Colony area falling within the jurisdiction of police station Channi.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all three cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
