Srinagar, Mar 22: Three houses were gutted in a fire incident at Alochi Bagh neighbourhood of summer capital here.
Fire broke out in a residential house at Madina Colony in Alochi Bagh this afternoon and engulfed two other adjoining structures. On being informed, fire tenders rushed to the area and started firefighting operation.
After more than an hour, the fire was brought under control, reports said; adding that property worth lakhs was damaged in the blaze. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
