JAMMU, Sept 21: Police arrested three gamblers along with Rs 13,150 stake money and playing cards from Link Road area, falling under the jurisdiction of Pacca Danga police station.
As per police sources, a team from Pacca Danga police station conducted raid in Link Road area and nabbed three gamblers along with Rs 13,150 and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Pawan Singh, son of Baldev Singh, a resident of Mast Garh, Ajay Kumar, son of Nanak Chand of Peepal Wali Gali and Rajeshwar Singh, son of Suraj Singh of Fattu Chowgan.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
