Srinagar, Dec 17: Police today said it have arrested three gamblers and recovered stake money worth thousands from the gambling spot at Lasjan area of summer capital.
A police spokesman said that acting on information, police raided a gambling site at Lasjan and apprehended three gamblers who were identified as Tahir Ahmad Mir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat and Jahangir Wani. “The stake money worth Rs. 30,330 was recovered from their possession,” he said.
The spokesman said that a case under FIR number 161/2017 under Section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up.
