Three drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Nov 30: Gangyal Police arrested three drug peddler and recovered 44 grams heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Gangyal laid a naka and intercepted a man, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 10 grams heroin from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Nitish Sharma, son of Sanjeev Sharma, a resident of Kartholi Bari Brahmana District Samba.
Meanwhile, similar team also laid a naka on specific information laid a naka and intercepted a car.
During checking, police team recovered 34 grams heroin from the possession of two persons travelling in the car.
The arrested persons were identified as Jasvinder Singh and Karanjeet Singh, both residents of Punjab.
Cases under FIR Number 172/2021 and 173/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal Inspector Pardeep Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South PK Mengi and SP South Deepak Digra.
