JAMMU, Oct 26: Three bikers were crushed to death when a two wheeler they were riding on, was hit by an Army vehicle on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur district today.
“A motorcycle coming towards Udhampur this morning hit Army’s recovery vehicle near Kud area and all the three persons riding on the motorbike, died on the spot,” police here said.
The deceased were identified as Sansar Chand, resident of village Ghar Roan Kalan, Rinku Sharma, resident of Ghar Roan Kalan and Kishore Kumar, resident of Manta Laid, all from Tehsil Chenani, district Udhampur.
“The driver of the Army vehicle has been detained, a case registered and investigations started,” police added. (UNI)
