KISHTWAR, Feb 5: Police arrested three persons for illegal mining.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Kishtwar laid a naka and seized 3 tippers and arrested 3 tipper driver from the spot for illegal mining.
The arrested persons were identified as Tariq Hussain, son of Ghulam Qadir Butt of Berwar Kishtwar, Sameer Ahmed Butt, son of Ghulam Qadir Butt of Kurya Kishtwar and Ghulam Mustafa Wani, son of Abdul Aziz Wani of Girinagar Kishtwar.
Cases under FIR Numbers 18/2022, 19/2022 and 20/2022 under relevant sections of law were registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation taken up.
