JAMMU, Mar 10: Channi Himmat and Bahu Fort Police arrested three absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who has been identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Nagar Mal of Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu. He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 1/2013 under Section 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Channi Himmat.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari conducted raids and apprehended two absconders, who were identified as Parvez Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid and Babu Ram, son of Ram Lal of Udheywala District Jammu.
Parvez Ahmed was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 171/2009 under Sections 457 and 380 RPC and Babu Ram in FIR Number 40/2022 under Sections 279 and 304-A IPC. Both these FIRs stands registered at Police Station Bahu Fort.
It is pertinent to mention that arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against Vijay Kumar by 1st Additional Munsiff Judicial Magistrate. Against Parvez Ahmed by Court of Special Magistrate Mobile Court Jammu and against Babu Ram by the Court of Sub Judge Electricity Court Jammu.
Further investigation into the cases registered against these arrested absconders is going on.
