
Kashmiris denounce terrorism, Pakistan

JAMMU, May 15: In a powerful demonstration of patriotism and solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces, Tiranga rallies were taken out across J&K today by members of Civil Society in which leaders and activists of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also participated.
In Jammu thousands of emotionally charged citizens took part in a massive Tiranga Yatra which passed through various areas of city.

The event was organized under the banner of Citizens for National Security.
The Yatra commenced from JDA Parking at Indira Chowk and traversed through the city’s bustling streets before culminating at the Press Club, here. Waving the National Flags and chanting slogans like Jai Hind, Vande Mataram, and Indian Army Zindabad, the participants expressed unflinching support for the nation’s soldiers.
Civil society members were led by Chief Guest, Mahant Rameshwar Das, alongside prominent leaders including Sat Sharma, president, J&K BJP; Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP national secretary & MLA; MP Jugal Kishore Sharma; MLAs Sham Lal Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, Arvind Gupta, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Dr. Rajiv, Mohan Lal, and Surinder Bhagat, Ashok Koul, general secretary (organization), J&K BJP, former MLA Ashwani Sharma and others.
The event also witnessed participation of Arun Gupta, president of the Chamber of Commerce; Rajesh Chhibber, president of PoJK refugees, Army veterans, saints, members of various social and trade organizations, and BJP cadres.
Sat Sharma, while addressing on the occasion, said that under the leadership of the country’s illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has once again made it clear – we are not only tolerant, but also capable of delivering precise and strong strikes as and when required.

“Today, by joining the “Tiranga Yatra” organized by ‘Citizens for National Security’ in Jammu, I paid tribute to the indomitable courage, valour and patriotism of our brave soldiers. This Yatra is a symbol of our unwavering commitment towards the honour and glory of Mother India and national security”, said Sat Sharma.
Arun Gupta, while addressing lambasted Pakistan for its irresponsible actions and said that the strong Indian Forces busted the false narrative of ‘Nuclear War’. He maintained that Indian forces enjoyed free hand in the Operation Sindoor but didn’t target any Pakistani civilian.
Rajesh Chibber lauded the Indian forces for the valiance and stated that every Indian feels proud on the Indian Armed forces and the way they decimated their terrorists’ centers across the borders.
Another rally was taken out by BJP KDD led by Rajiv Pandit in which a large number of party activists including sizable number of women workers with Tri-colours in their hands took part.
“Tiranga” rallies at several places in the Valley were organized by BJP today to celebrate the armed forces’ success in carrying out Operation Sindoor, denounce terrorism and Pakistan.
The rallies were taken out in Srinagar, Pahalgam and Kupwara. In Srinagar, the party activists assembled at the Sher-e-Kashmir Park and started the rally that culminated at the historic Ghanta Ghar, the iconic clock tower at the Lal Chowk city centre.
Talking to reporters, BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir spokesperson, Altaf Thakur said the rally was a celebration of Operation Sindoor’s success.
“This is the celebration of the Indian Army’s victory. Our forces exhibited their courage and made Operation Sindoor a success. They destroyed terror factories inside Pakistan,” he said.
Thakur said through Operation Sindoor, India has sent a message to the world that it will not tolerate terrorism anymore.
BJP National Executive Member and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi lambasted Pakistan and it’s supporters for exporting terror and hatred in our country.
Andrabi said that terrorism cannot be tolerated anymore by a strong India under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. “Operation Sindoor was very successful and celebrating the power shown by Indian Army is the basis of this Tiranga rally. Every Indian is proud of our armed forces, security forces and our Prime Minister.
Similar rallies were organised in the Pahalgam tourist resort, where 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed in a terror attack on April 22 that led to Operation Sindoor, and Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In Pahalgam BJP activists and members of civil society with National Flags in their hands were raising slogans against terrorism and Pakistan and in praise of PM Modi and his leadership.
