JAMMU, Nov 28: Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen car from his possession.
As per police spokesperson, a theft case of car bearing registration number JK02AA-3640 was registered with Bakshi Nagar police station under FIR Number 151/15 under Section 379 RPC.
To trace out the thieves, police conducted raids in several areas and finally arrested a person namely Bindu Sharma alias Phidi, son of Vishwa Sharma, a resident of Dhori Deghar, Akhnoor.
On his disclosure, police recovered the stolen car.
The questioning of the accused is going on and some more recoveries are likely to be made in near future.
Police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Ashwani Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of Incharge, SDPO West, Vivek Shekhar, SP City North, Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
