Thief arrested with stolen flood lights

JAMMU, July 15: Bagh-e-Bahu Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen flood lights worth lakhs from his possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by official of Jammu Smart City Limited with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu stating that some unidentified persons have stolen flood lights worth lakhs, which were installed on the back side of the Bahu Fort temple.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 65/2022 under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu led by SHO Inspector Sikander Singh put in hectic efforts and finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Mohammad Tabeer, a resident of Myanmar, at present Kiryani Talab District Jammu. On his disclosure, 6 stolen flood lights worth lakhs were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
